Jordan River maybe? Or possibly cowichan? They should all have snow unless it warms way up!

Cowichan area would be good if we can find some elevation. Can't get all that high up hill 60 before you get to the gate. When in doubt the best bet for snow is probably still Mt. Brenton in Chemainus but we've done that the past few years.
I was in 3' of snow up island two weekends ago and now its almost gone. It was over my waist in places and I was not even that high in elevation!

Like Growly - we have lots in Kelowna - going sledding next weekend for the first time this year - but I want to haul the Jeep down to the island for the run - so I hope you can get your stuff together for it - snow or no snow.

We had a fresh skiff (sp?) of snow yesterday morning at our house. There is fresh snow in the hills all around Duncan and lake Cowichan. Shouldn't be any problem finding a good place.

How many are up for the snow run. Let all your friend's know as well. The sooner I know were the better to let Al know to bring the jeep or not. Also do we need the BBQ and tank etc.

This Sunday 9:30 at the Copper Canyon gate near Chemainus (same spot as last year). Chet is coming as well and we have decided to pre-run the road up Mt. Brenton and make sure there are not too many trees down etc. See you there.

I will maqke sure I throw the chainsaw into my Jeep before I come down - just in case - never to many chainsaws! Looking forward to the snow wheeling report!
We are heading out tomorrow - hopefully the Jeep will still be in one piece to bring down :0 Al V
