Allright, you all knew it was coming.
I just had to re-register.
The 2005 QCC Is in Full planning right now. How many of you all are coming?
We have Al Vandervelde, editor of Canada 4wd coming to write an article, we have people from P.G., Quesnel, Vancouver, a couple Islanders...and as always, we welocme more!
Mike Allen is the Event Coordinater, and here's his spiel:
QCC2005 Activities
There will be several activities planned for the event this year as well as lots of wheeling fun.
The Amazing Race will be held Saturday morning around 11AM This is a challenging adventure as per the TV show. Contestants will travel to check points where they will receive clues to their next destination. A Roadblock is where one person of the team will complete a challenge and a Detour is where contestants will chose which activity to complete before recieving their next clue.
Hide and Go Seek will be held on Sunday morning leading into the afternoon. Several trucks will be hid in the canyon and contestants will have to find the vehicles in oder to complete the event. This event has been run for the last couple of years and is very well recieved. To those that have tried it before ....it's not easy is it???
Out of Towners might wish to go on a historical tour of the area. A wheeling trip through the canyon where the travelers will see reminents of the past and present. Chinese mine sites, Ancient gold dredges, and much more. This trip will end up on the edge of the actual canyon narrows where you will see the waters being forced through the narrow opening in the rocks.
This weekend is free and provided for by NCOAS to all registered club and association members so remember to bring your current membership card with you if you wish to take part in any of the activities.

I'm working on an attendees list to get a rough estimate as to the numbers expected to come.
