Soooo, just got back from 10 days at Gordon Bay. Even got a little smidge of wheeling in checking out the old copper mines up the hill from the park. Saw 2 bears, wallowed in the cold air emanating from the mine hole, hauled my buddy's minivan out of the toolies after he lost it on a corner, spent oh about 10 days in the water during the heat wave, waterskied (and could see clearly for once!) and had prolly the best weather imaginable for camping.

If you're out on the peninsula, drop in to Central Saanich days at the centennial park ball tourny bud - I'll be slingin' beer all weekend with the lions club. What kind of numbskull would put me in charge of a beer garden eh? ;0)
