Does anyone know the product I'm looking for? I saw it in a magazine recently and have misplaced the magazine and my efforts to Google it have failed miserably.
There is a company that makes hoods for jeeps (cj's and wranglers) that have the fender/flare as part of the hood for added clearance. I thought it was a pretty trick idea to give some extra room underneath with less sawzall work.
Anyone familiar?

Why don't you cut the hood and raise the fenders- it will give you more tire coverage that way and you can bolt on a flare. I just did this with my TJ with a pair of custom fenders from Aqualu.com

I'm sure its possible you have a Flatty hood already? Give Aqualu in Kelowna a call they made my fenders they would know better than anyone if they can build you a set. www.aqualu.com

awesome, thanks Al. I'm not nearly at that stage yet, but I'll definitely do that when the time comes. I'm trying to keep it as little lift as possible and fit 35" tires under it.
