My Duramax is almost here so it is time to move my 1987 4x4 Chevy (GMC).

I have had the truck for 4 years got it with 135,000km's on Propane now 200,000 and back on gas for the past 10,000. Runs decent but showing it's age. New tranny, good tires, slight lift. Yes it is a 3500 with all the heavy duty stuff. Old Body style but fuel injected. White body tan interior. I drive it lots but it needs TLC.
If I don't get a taker I will part it out after the long weekend. Rather see someone use the whole truck. I can drive it out if someone will pay expenses.
The price is what I can get for it if I parted out but with less work for me:
$5,000.00 as is with winch. FIRM!!!!!!!!!!!!
great complete donor for bad ass off road build up.
The good stuff:
1987 Chevy 1-ton
Reg cab long box
all power options windows/locks/cruiser/tilt etc...
front Dana 60 - Rear full float 14 bolt (373 gears rear Gov Lock)
Mile Marker 12000 hydraulic winch (never used)
Fuel injected 454 200,000km's. Spent the first 190,000 on Propane - runs good.
New gas tanks and fuel pumps plus I have two Propane saddle tanks (120L each) if wanted.
rebuilt Turbo 400 (less than 5000K), Stage II shift kit HD TQ convertor.
205 T-case (slip yoke style)
2 inch Skyjacker lift with shocks - full leafs all around
Progressive mags (need polishing)
5 Yokohama Geolander MT's low miles 305-16's (34 inches)
Checkerplate box liner with tool box
Hydroboost brakes
rear slider
Interior decent for a 20 year old truck no tears in the seats, carpets decent - one small crack in the corner of the dash pad.
CD Player
dual batteries
Never off-roaded
no oil leaks
The bad stuff:
Chevy rust - it needs cab corners, wheel arches and around tail lights patched. Cab, fenders, hood, and the rest of the box is pretty good. Frame good but typical 20 years old. Doors need work as does the tail gate but all of the patch parts are really cheep. New doors are 125.00 each, patch panels are under 20.00 each.
Some electrical bugs - I think the bugs can be fixed with a new multi function stick on the column - but I am not positive.
slightly bent front bumper (hit a post in a gas station) - should be able to straighten - good grill.
Power steering pump wines but I think I can fix that. I put the wrong outlet reducer in.
Rad is good (four core) doesn't leak but vintage of the truck as far as I can tell.
e-brake needs some TLC (sticks) but brakes are good.
air conditioning but doesn't work
Exhaust rusted and falling off piece by piece.
