Hillcrest Cleanup Saturday Nov 20
This is a invite to everyone who wants to come and volunteer for the day to help cleanup one of the well used areas. Most 2wd trucks will be able to participate also. The Cleanup area is located off the Cowichan Lake Hwy, the road which is gravel is signed as Hillcrest, it is on the right. I myself am leaving Victoria around 8:00 am and heading to the Tim Hortons at Millstream road infront of Futureshop. If anyone wants to meet up that seems to be the meeting spot(Thanks to Cara for the idea). We will be meeting there around 8am or so, planning to leave there around 8:30 am and head upisland, arriving at Hillcrest at 9am
I am still trying to arrange food and beverages, i am not sure if i will be able to organize this so please bring some food and beverage for yourself.
Reminder to everyone: please wear and bring appropiate clothes for the event, the weather can change quickly there.
If anybody needs a ride or is not sure of the way there i am sure there will be some posts.
