Death wobble..

after last years Rock Creep I bent my steering linkage ...so when I got home i got some new DOM ,, and 1 ton TRE ... and finished the High steer and cross over ...

went to take it on the New YEars run ...and ended up with a HUGE death wobble ..so I put it aside and am finally workinb on it again...

I took all the steerin off and high steer arms ,,and made sure every part seats properly ... reinstalled today ,took it for a run on the streets around here ,..STILL THERE

so since this only happened after I went to high steer ,, Im thinkin of puttin the old OEM set up back in and see if it helps ... but its bent ,,

anyone have a large press or a way to straighten (even temp. ) an OEM long TRE ?

slim are your king pins tight? if your toe in is zero then it will start to wander and loose kingpins can do death wobble.

actually I was thinkin time to look at doin king pins ,,,first time wet them in a set up ...so will mount it on some Jack stands and check out the whole front end ,,,

ty for the suggestion ,,, toe in is also something I never checked after Rock Creep ,,
