Club Run/BBQ Sept 19

well since this Our club site , might as well put it to good use ,

Today we did a Run and BBQ Weeks Lake area , the weather held out for us ,,,but did sprinkle a few time time

the day was broken up to a Morn run , then back to the Lake for lunch then an after noon run ..


It will let the guys on the runs fill u in on all their details ,

With Nadines help (thank u ..by the way) I went to Weeks set up the BBQ and She made a fire and we hung out till lunch when every one showed up ,,

We had a nice mix of IRC ,, and 2 Island4x4 trucks , even 2 from Black Flag , so I Really think IRC put on a fun day and great club showing ,

Ok guys fill us in on the trail run now , ;D

Come on Chris, I would like to hear about the days events. I missed out on the BBQ and wheelin. Also I won't be making the AGM either, so a little story would be cool ;D

well I remember hearin as I was cookin ,, about Ian's cj8 braken a u/j ,,,and Tony winched? something like that ,,,

so must be some details to share

OK here goes. first run gong show up hill clean run for me. Ian was doing good till he broke a front axle. We fix the axle in about 45 mins. Tony was doing good till he got stuck at the stump had to winch him out. Stop at weeks for lunch. Second run chets crack had my truck on its side drove it out. The run only lasted about 40 mins. Third run up hucklyberry to rubber boot . All in all a very good day good food too we out by 4:30. Chris

Sounds like you guys had fun, wish I could have joined in on the fun. Had to many things to get done around the house and not enough time to fit the wheelin in

How was Rubber Boot, I havent seen it since we opened it ,,,has it been run much? is it pretty Slick?

The rubber boot trail was fun we ran it donw hill no one has bin on the trail untill sundays run Chris ;D
