Hello folks! I am an engineering student from Newfoundland, working in Langford until Christmas. I am an avid off-roader back home, and unfortunately I could not take my rig with me.. I was wondering if I would be able to hitch a ride with one of you guys on one of your outings? I will be more than happy to pitch in on fuel costs.... I know that there are many cool trails around here, and many cool rigs. Many older rigs that I see here would never be seen in Newfoundland, where the weather and the use of salt on the roads in the winter eats body panels. So guys I know this is kind of a forward request but it would be really cool if I could hitch a ride sometime, or even just have a chat and check out the rigs. Thanks, and hope to hear from you.. MIKE

Hey "Slim", thanks for your reply. I am sorry I do not have many pictures on my rig or the trails in Newfoundland on my laptop here. I have an '88 4Runner with a V6, 5 Speed, 33" Hankooks, 3" body lift. I have a solid axle to install, when I get the time. I plan on installing 35s or maybe 37s next summer. She runs pretty good for a 350 000 kilometer rig, that has been flogged and pushed as hard as I do! Being an engineering student, I barely have time to sleep let alone work on my rig, which I love to do. Being on a work term right now in BC, she is sitting in the driveway at home, with nothing being done Nice looking rig you have there.. It's been a long time since I've seen a Chief, but I love them. I wouldn't mind having one myself. Nice chattin' with you. MIKE
