we actually had a pretty good turn out!
Myself and Chris, Glenn & Shane, Dennis, Dave Thomas, Jo-jo and Lori and Nadine on their bikes.
The plan was for Jo-jo to show us a few trails and then do a bit of clearing. He showed us a few things then the new section on Armdongs very cool trail for the 4-5 rated guys. Jo-jo and myself then hiked a new chute down to the next road. it was steep! We then broke out the saws and started clearing. about 20' from the end of the new trail Shane stepped in a wasps nest and got stung at least 6 times good thing he is not allergic!
After that excitement we headed out and going through redballz on the way out Glenn decided his cruiser needed a rest and laid it over on its side for a brief period.
Lets just say by the time we got back to the bridge at Skutz we were all beat!

he took out the drivers/pass?? back window and dented the body right below it. Flipping him back over we caught the other corner and dented it too.

ICBC will cover it. It follows that since you need liability insurance to to drive on forest service roads -- collision insurance applies as well. I have not had a claim for 6- years (ex took out my door on my other vehicle in 2000), so this claim will not increase my rates - still at the max discount. Advance Collision is doing up the estimate and we anticipate problems getting the rear window (G&S Cruisers - no have). The other stuff we probably can get from Toyota, as interchangeable parts from the Canadian spec BJ74. I guess I need a dedicated bush basher (like monkeycage.island4x4.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=30751, -- but then how long will it be before they gate-up all the private forestlands on South Van Isl.

I can't tell in the photos but if the glass you need to replace is a flat piece go to an autoglass place. They can custom cut what you need and then ship it to Vancouver for tempering.
I had that done on my hardtop and it was actually pretty reasonable for price.

and Heap has 2 "E"s in it
Webster's defines heap as "a collection of things piled on another", such as a pile in a heap -- that was the joke
