I bought a 1992 Jeep Cherokee (4.0 inline 6, 5 spd) last month for a steal. I was going to replace the rear main seal and front/rear diff pinion seals this weekend, however a noise started on Friday night I haven't been able to diagnose.
Can you suggest a really good, reliable, trustworthy Jeep mechanic who would be willing to diagnose my issue? Keeping in mind that I want to perform all repairs myself, I don't want to upset a mechanic by having them diagnose (expecting to repair) only to have me tow it away...
Thank you!
