8-)Hi every one I'm new to this forum and just bought for my son and I a 88 jeep to have some fun. I want to know who do you all trust and recommend in the Greater Victoria area for Jeep repair work. Though I can do basic work I want a mech who knows the carbs etc to set this up the first time and make sure its reliable etc.. Also has any one done a carb conversion to motercraft or weber? and does anyone in Victoria do them right? Thanks for your help and hello again. Terry

Anuther vote for the mc2100 carb - works like a dream and doesn't care what angle yer on. I believe the model you want is the one with 1.08 cast into the side. Pirate 4x4 is a good place to do a [glow=red,2,300]search [/glow]in the jeep tech forum for info. The 2100 was the first time I did a rebuild on a carb - butt simple as evidenced by the fact that it ran Welcome to Vic wheeling - check on the calendar and come on out to a meeting / run. Rob
