this will be on Jan. 8th this year due to NYs day falling on a sunday (plus some people are too hung to get up early the day after new years! ) A better idea of snow conditions will be known closer to the date but the last couple of years have been either shawnigan or Mt. Brenton (Chemainus) This is more a social BBQ type event so bring your kids, sig others etc. and have a good time. It is also stocker friendly! Last year a few of us made it to holy oak lake in stock 4x4's. Lets start the year off right and get everyone out for a day of fun! ;D ;D

hmmm guess I should rephrase that! Chris you know how well the 1 tons do in snow... they suck! plus if it gets stuck there is not many who can pull you out. Ian did drive his 3/4 chev to the top last year though!

It wasn't too bad last year for the chev. I only had to really work at it the last couple of hills to get there. Mind you I didn't have duals and it did have mud terrains on. Needless to say I will be in the zuk this year. I was up at Hollyoak about 3 weeks ago and there was about 1.5' of snow then but it may be gone now.

we never set a finish time due to sh*t happens rule! you can expect to be back in town around 5:00 though we have to be out of the gate by dark anyways!
