Glenn ask Nadine she has ordered one! Not sure from who though. I would not convert it to lld. too much work for the change over, new firewall, brakebooster, pedals, column, steering box/linkage etc. There is alot of these RHD landcruisers running around the island now and I have talked to a few guys anf they all say its easy to adapt to the RHD. I am hoping in the next year or two to get a cruiser RHD diesel. electric lockers front a rear factory! check out the international section at www.ih8mud.com its all cruisers but there is a few importers there as well. www.mustang.bc.cawww.luxuryimports.cawww.outbackimports.catoo name a few.

We should get Nadine and Wayne to tell us all about it Thursday night
- factory lockers, with diesel power - I like!
Parts availability needs to be explored

the 3L is very similar to the 2L and probably shares engine parts. all other parts are the same as canadian trucks. Although the truck don't have the electric lockers only the land cruisers.

Leave it right hand drive and get use to it! It will come to you so quick you will feel like a conversion was a waste of money anyway. I think I am going to go for a BJ 70 or LJ 70 for my next project. These and the two door Landcruisers. If any of you remember Brad Pedens old Landcruiser rig it's like that... Wayne at www.luxuryimports.ca brings them in too. Yup diesel and right hand drive. Al V

I saw a HJ61 that had been converted to LHD at Cruiser Days this summer. Ciarran did an awesome job; I didn't realize it wasn't factory until I was told. Here's a link that shows some pics: Cruiser Days 2005I think that it's pretty expensive, and for me, not worth it. But if I did want it done, I would look up Ciarran at Cruiserland Enterprises in Langley.

Welcome, WussyPup - and thanks for the link. Can't wait to see that HDJ81 for real. Don't forget to check back about the snow-run - a good (usually gentle!) intro to the club!
