Hi Jeff - Thanks for the note, and welcome to the Island!
While our club is small, I would definitely characterize it as family friendly - most of us have kids that love to come along on our outings, and we always try to cater to the minimum capabilities of the vehicles that come out on our runs. Most of the trails that remain open are to the north over the Malahat, so we mostly wheel around Shawnigan Lake, Duncan, and Lake Cowichan.
