I just had a call from a guy named Mike - asked if anyone has a line on a carburetor off a Hyundai 1.3 L engine - they apparently bolt right onto a Sumurai. Anyone have one laying around, or suggest any alternatives? I've invited Mike to the Meeting on Tuesday Feb 5. Hopefully we'll have some info for him! Thanks in advance.

If he plans to 4x4 with it skip the Hyundai carb all together. It sucks on even the sligtest of hills. The late 70s 1200cc corolla carb works very well with a little modification. Webers are also popular. If he has a few bucks to spend there are several comanies making adapters to fit motorcycle carbs. If he can get the stock one working again they also work very well (when they work). Rebuild kits for the stock ones may need to come from Australia though as the regular stores here only list parts for Sammies imported into the states and those have a different carb.

ya the kit that adapts a Harley CU carb seems pretty cool and will run at any angle.
