We meet up with Steph and her sister at Spencer Rd. Shell and left as planned at 6:30. Ran into snow North of Duncan, still meet with sidwinders in naniamo at 8:20.Departed at 8:30 With Dwain (yellow tracker) Dwight(red tracker) Dennis (toyota) Stephanie (TJ) and us white s15. Very slippery road on the way to the trails, but no problems. The Sidewinders took us in Doumont area then to Boomerang Lk. The trail out of boomerang lake took us across a couple of difficult water crossings, that required some winching. Then on up to the look out for lunch. Good day for everyone, except Steph's small dent in the back corner, and dennis' failed compressor(no air lockers) Thanks to the Sidewinders for a good day! And Steph for being the only other person to show up. I think Steph has a couple of pics to post

The run was wicked...I'll i've got to say is OH MY GOD! awesome!  !..yes, minus my dent...eesh, first body damage EVER!! Looks like it was a good day  Your sister doesn't look like you at all does she? ;D ;D ;D Sheesh! Bummer about the prang on such a shiny new jeep. What did the noise turn out to be ... did the dealer find it? Glynn, how does a run between Xmas and New years sound? Should have the new mill debugged by then and ready for a pre snow run  Slim? You gonna be running by sayyyyy 29th or 30th? Rob |

Rob I leave on the 28  They said the noise is from something with the tie rod ends due to the linkages...they have all disappeared now... |

why would u want to leave the island and go back?..still have the Snow run coming up ..lol
Im thinkin I can try and get a Jeep or 2 running by then , spent all weekend on them ..

I have the week off between xmas and NY hopefully i can get the kick running properly by then. I spent alot of time on it this week and it still has a mid throttle miss and stalls about 10 minutes after start up and will not re start.  |

We'd be into a run 27-28, what kind of a run do you think you will be doing ? Maybe steph wants to beat up her jeep some more if we go on the 27th

Oh my poor Jeep! ha ha ha. Corner guards here I come!...not sure if i'm up to a run a day before I leave just because I have to drive 12 hrs the next day...if I actually break something mechanically I am royally screwed! I would love to be a passenger though!

Doesn't have to be a tough or tight run for me. Just a shake down / make sure the new mill won't let me down on the snow run type of day. Snow will likely keep us outta the real tight stuff? More later - need to pull the passenger seat out of the yj so that I have somewhere to put the transmission to take it over to the mainland with me  ;D |

huckle berry I bet would be nasty afrter the rain we had. Would be worth a look though. Maybe my Crack? Hell depending on the weather getting to weaks could be a challenge in itself! |
